Halo guys…gimana kabar kalian??? Semoga baik baik aja yaa. Okee guys kali ini aku mau kasih kalian materi nih mengenai Analytical Text. Wahh Analisis ya?? Pasti susah dong?! Tenang tenang guyss aku udah rangkumin kok apa aja yang harus kalian ketahui tentang Analytical Text

               1. Definition

-        An analytical way of doing something involves the use of logical reasoning.

-        Is text that elaborates the writers idea about the phenomenon surrounding.

                         2. Purpose/Function

a.    To convince the reader that the topic is important to discuss or get attention by providing arguments or opinions that support the main ideas or topic.

b.    To analyze a topic and convince or influence the reader that the opinion is correct and supported by arguments.

                          3. Generic structure

a.    Thesis

It introduces the topic and shows the authors point of view.

b.    Argument

Contains explanations of arguments to support the authors position. The number of arguments may vary, but each argument must be supported by evidence and explanation.

c.     Reiteration

Contains a restatement of the authors point of view or can also be to strengthen the thesis. Usually this section begins with From the facts above, Therefore, In conclusion, and so on.

                4.  Expressions

a.   Write analytical exposition text using simple present tense.

b.    Use words that express the writer’s thoughts or feelings, for example : experience, feel,   know, realize, sense, think, etc.

c.     Use connective words, which are connecting words. The use of connective words aims to connect ideas, be it phrases, clauses, sentences, or paragraphs. Connective words have many functions. The 3 function of connective words that are  most often used in analytical text are :

-        Adding information, which is adding information. Examples include and, moreover, in addition, and also.

-        Contrasting information, which is contrasting something. Examples include but, however, and even thought

-        Causality, which shows cause and effect. Examples include because, therefore, despite, due to, for that reason, etc.

The office that I chose to undergo this Industrical Work Practice is called PT Alam Jati Semesta Kurnia Agung (AJISAKA), which is located at Jl. Jangli No. 312, Candisari, Semarang.        So guys, this AJISAKA office has a strategic location in the middle of the crowd, surrounded by various kinds of eating places, street vendors, elementary schools, sub-districts, etc. Very crowded hahah. AJISAKA office has 2 floors and there is also a rooftop. If we enter the inside of the office we can see the interior of the office which is dominated by carved wood carvings.
